 Literacy helps people navigate through our world. Have you ever experienced a situation where you couldn’t understand the words surrounding you? When we understand the words around us, opportunities surround us.

 
When I decided to create Desert Villa, I intended to promote fantastic literary works. However, I realized that literacy is fashioned in various forms. 

We use maps to understand our world, graphs to calculate risk, music to evoke emotion, art to express beauty, words to tell a story, and signs to find our way.

Together, let’s explore our world and how we communicate. 

A bit about me - Reading marvelous books with my family are my most cherished moments. I share freshly baked scones, indulge in occasional soy lattes, and spend time in flower gardens.
